We added a 24/7 live news stream to Max with the launch of CNN Max. This new service is available to all Max subscribers for no additional cost. CNN Max is targeted to US audiences and features live news and select programming created just for Max.
To watch live news:
- In Max, choose News (top of screen) and then the live news show.
- On the Max Home screen, find the Brand Spotlight row, choose CNN Max and then the live news show.

To turn closed captions on or off, choose the Audio and Subtitles icon in the video player. Closed captions for the live news stream are slightly delayed. To find out how to change the caption styling (e.g. font and size), go to Subtitles, captions, and audio.

Yes. The CNN Max 24/7 live stream is in addition to the CNN Originals available on Max. There are over 900 episodes of CNN Original Series and CNN Films on Max, including 'Who's Talking to Chris Wallace?,' 'The Whole Story with Anderson Cooper,' and 'Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown' (Seasons 1-12).

- On the Max Home screen, find the Brand Spotlight row, choose CNN Max and then scroll down.
When the live stream includes programming from a CNN channel, you'll either see ads from the channel or an ad break screen in lieu of the ads. Programming created just for Max doesn't have ads.
