B/R Sports on Max

Live sports is coming to Max! Starting October 5th, the B/R (Bleacher Report) Sports Add-on will be included on us for a limited time with any Max subscription. After the promotional period, you can add the B/R Sports Add-on starting at $9.99/mo (when billed through us or an app store). Pricing and availability of the B/R Sports Add-on varies by subscription provider. Base subscription will be required.

The first live game will be the National League Division Series on Saturday, October 7th.

With the B/R Sports Add-on you can stream select live events, including MLB, NHL, NBA, NCAA Men's March Madness, and U.S. Soccer (for more info, go to What live sports will be on Max).

Starting on October 5th, B/R Sports will appear on the menu at the top of Max. There you'll find live games, upcoming games, and highlights from recent games.

B/R Sports on Max will be select games that air on TBS, TNT, and truTV.

What is the B/R Sports Add-on?

The Bleacher Report (B/R) Sports Add-On is the place for premium sports content, including more than 300 live events per year.

B/R Sports is a new add-on available to all Max subscribers. Initially, the B/R Sports Add-on will be included on us for a limited time with any Max subscription. After the promotional period, you can add the B/R Sports Add-on starting at $9.99/mo (when billed through us or an app store). Pricing and availability of the B/R Sports Add-on varies by subscription provider. Base subscription will be required.

In addition to live sports, the B/R Sports Add-on will include pre- and post-game studio programming, multi-sport on-demand content, special features, and live series from Bleacher Report (e.g. live coverage of the NFL Draft, popular vodcasts and the Creator League).

What live sports will be on Max?

With the B/R Sports Add-on, you can stream the following live sports through Spring 2024 (more than 300 live games each year):

  • 2023 MLB Postseason coverage of the National League Division Series (starting on October 7) and the National League Championship series
  • More than 60 live NHL regular season games, including an Opening Week doubleheader on October 11 (Chicago Blackhawks vs Boston Bruins and Los Angeles Kings vs Colorado Avalanche)
  • Live coverage of NBA Opening Night on October 24 (Denver Nuggets vs Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns vs Golden State Warriors), part of a 65-game schedule during the 2023-24 season
  • Inaugural 2023 NBA In-Season Tournament starting with a doubleheader on November 14, the first of 3 weeks of Group Play competition
  • 2024 Discover NHL Winter Classic on January 1, 2024 (Seattle Kraken vs Vegas Golden Knights)
  • 2024 NBA All-Star Saturday Night and the NBA All-Star Game (February 16-18, 2024)
  • Every 2024 NCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball Championship game airing on TBS, TNT, and truTV, including the Men's Final Four and National Championship starting in March 2024
  • 2024 MLB regular season coverage starting in April 2024, featuring a weekly Tuesday Night game throughout the season
  • 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs starting in April 2024, including coverage of one of the Conference Finals
  • 2024 NBA Playoffs starting in April 2024, including coverage of the 2024 NBA Western Conference Finals
  • English-language live coverage of U.S. Men's National Soccer Team and U.S. Women's National Soccer Team matches, including the 2024 SheBelieves Cup
  • Upcoming installments of The Match, a premier live golf event

In addition to live sports, the B/R Sports Add-on will include sports documentaries, pre- and post-game studio shows, highlights, special features, and extended series (e.g. Bleacher Report's coverage of the NFL Draft, popular vodcasts, and Creator League competitions).

Do I have to pay more for live sports?

The B/R Sports Add-on will be available to all Max subscribers on us for a limited time! This means that everyone with a Max subscription can stream live sports through February 29, 2024.

Will there be blackout restrictions?

Depending on your location, you won't be able to stream some live games due to rights of local content providers. Check back here on October 5th for more info about blackouts.

How will I watch live sports?

Starting October 5th, Sports will appear on the menu at the top of Max. There you'll find live games, upcoming games, and highlights from recent games.
