Update HBO Max to Max

Here’s how to update from HBO Max to Max:

Open the HBO Max app on your device.
Choose Download on the HBO Max is Now Max screen.
Choose the download or install option in the app store.

Once you’ve installed the Max app, you can delete the HBO Max app from your device.

On your Amazon Fire tablet (Brazil and Mexico only):

Open the Appstore and search for Max.
Choose Max and then the download option.
Open Max and sign in.

If you can't download the Max app, try updating your Amazon Fire Tablet:

Open the Settings menu, then choose Device Options > System Updates > Update.
Once updated, try downloading Max again.

Android phone or tablet

On your Android phone or tablet:

Open the Play Store and search for Max.
Choose Max and then Install.
Open Max and sign in.

If you can't download the Max app, try updating your Android device:

Open Settings, then choose System > System Update > Check for update.
Once updated, try downloading Max again.

On your Apple device:

Do one of the following:
- PlayStation 4: Go to the PlayStation store and search for Max. Choose Max and then Download.

Open Max and sign in.

If you can't download the Max app, try updating your PlayStation:

Go to the Settings menu and choose System Software update.
Once updated, try downloading Max again.

Roku

On your Roku device:

Go to Streaming Store > Search and search for Max.
Choose Max and Add app.
Open Max and sign in.

If you can't download the Max app, update your Roku:

Go to Settings > System > Software update > Check now.
Once updated, try downloading Max again.

On your Samsung TV:

Choose Apps and then search for Max.
Choose Max and Install.
Open Max and sign in.

If you can't download the Max app, try updating your Samsung TV:

Once updated, try downloading Max again.
