Change your payment method
Max subscriptions are available through many providers. How you update your payment method depends on who bills you. If you know who bills you, skip to Step 2.
Step 1: Find who bills you
Here's how to find who bills you for Max:
- Do one of the following:
- Web: Go to max.com/subscription and sign in (if needed). Can't sign in?
- Phone, tablet, or computer: In Max, choose your profile and then Subscription.
- TV device: In Max, choose the Settings icon and then Subscription.
- Here you'll find who your subscription is billed through (top of screen).
You can also check your bank statements or ask your internet, mobile, or TV provider if they bill you for Max.
Step 2: Change your payment method
If you're billed through us (WarnerMedia), here's how to update your payment method:
- Go to max.com/subscription and sign in (if needed). Can't sign in?
- Choose Update Your Payment Method.
No update payment option? Take note of who you're billed through (top of screen) and find them in the Third-party billing section below. - Add your payment info and save your changes. Can't change your payment?
Your updated payment info will be used for your next subscription charge.

If your provider isn't listed above, choose:
Internet, mobile, or TV provider
You need to update your payment method for your provider account. Find your provider below:
- AT&T: Go to AT&T's Change payment method article.
- DIRECTV: Go to DIRECTV's Update payment method article.
- Hulu: Go to Hulu's Change payment information article.
- Prime Video Channels: Go to Amazon's Manage payment methods article.
- Verizon Fios: In the My Verizon app, choose Account > Home > Bill.
- Verizon +play: Sign in to your Verizon account at verizon.com/home/myverizon. Choose +play and then Manage.
- Verizon myPlan (Verizon Netflix & Max perk): Sign in to your Verizon account at verizon.com/myaccount. Choose Account > Home > Bill. Change the payment method for your myPlan Unlimited plan.
- Xfinity (provided by Comcast): Go to Xfinity's Manage your payment method article.
- YouTube TV: Go to YouTube TV's Update billing and payments article.
- YouTube Primetime Channels: Go to YouTube TV's Manage your payment methods article.
- Other provider: Sign in to your provider's website, go to their Help Center, or contact them.
