Resubscribe to Max

If you subscribed to Max or HBO Max in the past, here's how you can subscribe to Max using your existing account (this way you'll have your profiles, My List, and watch history).

Ways to resubscribe

Here are the ways you can resubscribe to Max:

Max.com

Here's how to resubscribe on the web:

Go to max.com and sign in with your Max (or HBO Max) account. Can't sign in?
Choose Start Streaming (if available).
On the Welcome Back screen, choose Sign Up Now.
Choose a subscription plan and billing period, then continue.
Add your payment method and start your subscription.
Choose Start Streaming and you're ready to stream.

Now you can sign in and stream Max on any supported devices.

Max app

Here's how to resubscribe through an app store (e.g., Apple or Google):

Open Max and sign in to your Max (or HBO Max) account. Can't sign in?
Choose Renew Subscription.
Choose a subscription plan and billing period.
Follow the on-screen instructions to subscribe through the app store.
Choose Start Streaming and you're ready to stream.

Now you can sign in and stream Max on any supported devices.

Internet, mobile, or TV provider

Here's how to resubscribe through a provider:

Step 1: Subscribe

Contact a provider and subscribe to Max or HBO.

For a list of internet, mobile, and TV providers, go to Max providers.

Step 2: Activate your Max subscription

Once you’ve signed up for Max, activate your Max subscription and then you can start streaming Max.

Troubleshooting

Can't stream after resubscribing?

Try signing out and then back in again. Here's how:

In Max, do one of the following:
- Phone, tablet, or computer: Choose your profile and then choose Sign Out.
- TV device: Choose the Settings icon and then Sign Out.
Sign in to Max and try to watch something.
