Max plan price changes

The Max Ad-Free and Ultimate plan prices are increasing. The monthly Ad-Free and Ultimate plans will increase by $1/month, the yearly Ad-Free plan will increase by $20/year, and the yearly Ultimate plan will increase by $10/year.

The With Ads plan prices (monthly and yearly) will remain the same.

What are the new plan prices?

If you subscribe through us or an app store, here are the new plan prices:

  • Ad-Free: $16.99/month or $169.99/year*
  • Ultimate Ad-Free: $20.99/month or $209.99/year*

* Prices don't include applicable taxes.

The With Ads plan prices (monthly and yearly) will remain the same.

If you subscribe through an internet, mobile, or TV provider, your provider will let you know about any price increase (as applicable).

When will this happen?

When the price change happens depends on how you get Max.

Subscribed through us or an app store

If you subscribe through us or an app store, your plan price will change on your first billing date on or after July 4, 2024. If you have a promotional discount, your price won't increase until your promotional period ends.

Subscribed through a provider

If you subscribe through an internet, mobile, or TV provider, your provider will let you know about any plan price increases (if applicable).

Which plan do I have?

Here's how to find your subscription plan:

  1. In Max, do one of the following:
    • Phone, tablet, or computer: Choose your profile and then Subscription.
    • TV device: Choose the Settings icon cog (lower left) and then Subscription.
      (Only Adult profiles can manage subscriptions.)
  2. Here you'll find your current plan and billing period.
How do I change my plan?

Depending on your provider, you may be able to change your plan. To find out how, go to How do I change plans?

When is my next billing date?

Here's how to find your next billing date:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Web: Go to max.com/subscription and sign in to your account. Can't sign in?
    • Phone, tablet, or computer: In Max, choose your profile and then Subscription.
    • TV device: In Max, choose the Settings icon (cog, lower left) and then Subscription.
  2. If you're billed through us, you'll find your upcoming payment date.
