How do I cancel Max?
- Your Max subscription automatically renews until you cancel it.
- Deleting the Max app does not cancel your subscription.
- Cancel your subscription before your next billing date to avoid further charges.
Here's how to cancel your Max subscription:
- Do one of the following:
- Phone or tablet: Go to auth.max.com/subscription and sign in to your account.
- Computer: Go to max.com and sign in to your account. Then, choose your profile and Subscription.
(Only Adult profiles can manage subscriptions.)
- Here you'll find who your subscription is billed through (top of screen).
- Find your billing provider below:
- WarnerMedia Direct: Choose Cancel Your Subscription. Confirm your cancellation and take note of your expiration date. You can stream until your subscription expires at the end of your billing period. For more info, go to Change a WarnerMedia-billed subscription.
- App store: Choose Manage Your Subscription or find your app store below.
- TV, internet, or wireless provider: Choose Learn More or find your billing provider below.
You can also check your bank statements or ask your TV, internet, or wireless provider if they bill you for Max.

Third-party billing providers
Choose who bills you for Max and follow the cancellation steps:
- Go to Amazon.com/appstoresubscriptions and sign in to your Amazon account.
- In the Your Subscriptions section, find Max and turn off auto-renewal.
You should get an email from Amazon confirming your cancellation. You can stream until your subscription expires at the end of your billing period.

- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app.
If you don't have an iOS device, go to Apple's Cancel a subscription article. - Choose your name.
- Choose Subscriptions (if prompted, log in with your Apple ID).
- Choose your Max subscription.
Can't find it? Make sure you're logged in with the correct Apple ID. For help, go to Apple's Can't find subscription to cancel article. - Choose Cancel Subscription.
You should get an email from Apple confirming your cancellation. You can stream until your subscription expires at the end of your billing period.
- On the Android phone or tablet, open the Play Store app.
To cancel on your computer, go to Google's Cancel a subscription on Google Play article. - At the top right, choose your profile icon.
- Choose Payments & subscriptions and then Subscriptions.
- Choose Max in your list of subscriptions, and then Cancel subscription.
You should get an email from Google Play confirming your cancellation. You can stream until your subscription expires at the end of your billing period.
- On your Roku remote, press the Home button.
To cancel on your phone or computer, go to Roku's Cancel a subscription article. - Use the directional pad on your remote to highlight Max.
- Press the Star button (*) to open the Options menu.
- Choose Manage subscription and then Cancel subscription. If Manage subscription isn't available, try these same steps on each Roku you own.
You should get an email from Roku confirming your cancellation. You can stream until your subscription expires at the end of your billing period.
- Go to samsungcheckout.com and sign in to your Samsung account.
To cancel on your Samsung TV, go to Samsung's Cancel subscription article. - From the Purchase History menu, choose Subscriptions.
- Find your Max subscription and choose Unsubscribe.
Once canceled, you should get an email from Samsung confirming your cancellation. You can stream until your subscription expires at the end of your billing period.

Sign in to your AT&T account at att.com/myatt or use the MyAT&T app.
Go to Cox's Cancel streaming service article or sign in to your Cox account at cox.com.
Go to DIRECTV's Add or remove premium channels article or sign in to your AT&T account at att.com/myatt.
- Go to hulu.com/account and sign in to your Hulu account.
- In the Your Subscription section, select Manage Add-ons (next to Add-ons).
- Find Max and toggle the checkmark to an X.
- Select Review Changes to confirm.

Sign in to your Optimum account at optimum.net/login.
- Go to Manage Your Prime Video Channels and sign in to your Amazon account (if prompted).
- Find Max in the Your Channels section.
- Choose the Cancel Channel option and confirm.

Go to Spectrum's Change or cancel service article or sign in to your Spectrum account at spectrum.net.
Sign in to your Verizon account at verizon.com/home/myverizon or use the My Fios app.
Sign in to your Verizon account at verizon.com/home/myverizon. Choose +play and then Manage. (+play is not currently available in the My Verizon app.)
Sign in to your Xfinity account at my.xfinity.com or go to the Xfinity Help Center.
- Sign in to your account at tv.youtube.com.
- Choose your profile and then Settings > Membership.
- Next to Max, choose Cancel and then confirm your cancellation.
