Activate or set up your Max subscription

Already activated?
If you already activated your Max subscription, you can sign in with your Max email and password. You only need to activate Max once.

New subscription? If you recently signed up for Max through Hubbl or Foxtel, you need to activate Max before you can start streaming Max.

Here's what you need to do:

Step 1: Activate Max

When you sign up through Hubbl or Foxtel, your provider will give you instructions on how to activate Max. If you don't have activation instructions, choose your provider below or contact them for help. (Your provider is who you signed up for Max through).

Foxtel

To set up your Max access, do one of the following:

  • Web: Go to foxtel.com.au/setupmax and follow the steps.
  • Foxtel iQ box: On your iQ box Home screen, select Max and then select Set up your access to unlock more Max. Scan the QR code, and follow the steps.
Hubbl

Go to Hubbl and follow the steps to activate Max.

Step 2: Create your Max account

To create your Max account, do one of the following:

New subscribers

Create your Max account:

  1. Open Max and choose Sign In.
  2. On the Welcome to Max screen, enter an email address for your Max account and choose Continue.
  3. Complete the account form and choose Create Account.
  4. Choose Start Streaming and you're ready to stream.

Now, you can sign in on any supported device using your Max email and password.

Returning subscribers

To link your new subscription to your existing Max account, do the following:

  1. Open Max and choose Sign In.
  2. On the Welcome to Max screen, enter an email address for your existing Max account and choose Continue.
  3. Check your inbox for an email from Max with a one-time code (email subject: Your One-Time Max Code). The email is sent to the email address you entered on the Create Your Account screen.
  4. On the One-Time Code screen, enter the code from the email and choose Submit.
  5. Confirm that you want to connect the subscription billed through your provider to your existing Max account.
  6. Choose Start Streaming and you're ready to stream.

Now, you can sign in on any supported device using your Max email and password.

Didn't get the one-time code email?

  • Search all of your inbox folders for an email from Max (including your Promotions, Junk, and Spam folder).
  • Choose Get New Code on the enter code screen and check your email again.

Troubleshooting

'Please check your account info' message

If you get this message, here are some things to try:

  • Go back to your provider activation page, and try following the activate link again.
  • Make sure that Max is included with your provider subscription.

If none of these help, please contact your provider for support.

'Can't verify your subscription' message

Make sure Max is included with your TV package. To do this, sign in to your TV, internet, or wireless account on your provider's website and make sure Max is included. If this doesn't help, contact your internet, mobile, or TV provider for help.

'Check your email and password' message

If you get this message, there may already be a Max account with the email address you entered. Go back and enter your email address on the Welcome to Max screen and choose Continue (then sign in to this account).
